Urinating immediately after women have sex can reduce urinary tract infection inflammation chance, but can this reduce the chance of pregnancy?

According to the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) To be clear: going to the bathroom immediately after sex does not reduce your chance of pregnancy.

Because once sperm enter the vagina, they are not affected by gravity and will just keep going. And by the time you decide to go to the bathroom, some sperm may have even passed through the cervix and entered the uterus. The kind of fluid that comes out of the vagina afterwards is basically just male bodily fluids containing a small amount of sperm.

Therefore, if you are preparing to become pregnant , you can safely urinate after sex . This will not reduce your chances of becoming a mother .

. Know a little more!

"Artificial Insemination by Husband (AIH)" uses oral drugs to stimulate the woman to ovulate, and then the husband's semen is washed and artificially injected into the uterine cavity.

Some data show that for women undergoing artificial insemination , lying down for 5-10 minutes immediately can increase the chance of conception , but continuing to lie down after 10 minutes will not increase the success rate of conception .
